Gulzar Makani

Meet Gulzar Makani our Homeroom teacher who had her schooling from Diamond Jubilee High School and graduation from Ambedkar University, Hyderabad. She completed PPTTC, teacher training course from Vivekananda College. After her training, she worked in the same school for 5 years as a preschool teacher. She worked with multiple schools in Hyderabad over the years. Her IB journey began with renowned school where she worked for 3 years. She had to take a break to attend to her family and now she feels excited to return to the IB world. She strongly believes that an IB school is the best place to teach and learn because IB education gives hands-on experience to the students and the learning engagements are planned based on real life situations. Everyday is a new learning for both teachers and students. The way the students question make the adults think and rethink. She feels Aarth Universal School is the right place for her as it’s a new IB school. According to her, it’s rewarding to be part of the founding team and start the journey right from roots. It is also an opportunity for her to share her understanding of IB education. Teaching is her passion and working with young children is like enjoying her life to the fullest each day – Gulzar Makani
