✨ We recently hosted an inspiring Indian Youth Leadership Summit, celebrating learning and leadership through a Quiz Competition, Speech, and Essay Writing on topics reflecting our nation's rich heritage and the contemporary world.

🏆 The competition was fierce, and the houses – Laxmibai, Sarojini, Savitribai, and Lady Cama – showcased their skills, creativity, and teamwork. Laxmibai house shone in the quiz, demonstrating their knowledge and team spirit to secure victory, while Lady Cama followed closely in second place. In the Speech Competition, the tables turned, with Lady Cama mesmerizing the audience with their powerful words, winning first place, and Laxmibai house taking the second spot. Finally, in the Essay Writing competition, Lady Cama again dominated by winning two out of three competitions with Savitribai House as the first runner up. The power of their words, combined with creativity and a deep understanding of promoting Indian culture on a global level, earned them the championship.

📚 This event deepened our understanding of Indian history, freedom struggle, and the governmental structure, while enhancing our communication skills, team spirit, and critical thinking.These experiences are not only shaping us into informed citizens but also preparing us to become global leaders of tomorrow. By learning about our country's rich heritage and how it influences the world stage, we are equipped with the knowledge and skills to advocate for change and lead with confidence in a global context. Learning about our country through fun and engaging activities has truly been a memorable journey!

We’re excited to share the success of our recent workshop aimed at empowering students with essential knowledge about body safety, self-respect and body positivity. Led by expert speaker Ms. Neelu Grover, this session was designed to foster a deeper understanding of personal boundaries, body autonomy, and healthy lifestyle choices.

As part of our Happiness Curriculum for Joyful Living, the workshop covered a wide range of topics that are crucial for building self-awareness and confidence. The workshop was divided into two separate sessions, one for students in Grades 1-4, and another for Grades 5-8. Each session was tailored to address age-appropriate topics, fostering a deeper understanding of personal boundaries, body autonomy and healthy lifestyle choices. For our younger learners, the focus was on recognizing different kinds of touches, respecting personal space and understanding the importance of consent.

For the Grade 5-8 learners the emphasis was on body diversity, encouraging students to challenge harmful beauty standards and embrace body positivity, fostering self-love and acceptance. Discussions also touched on mental and physical health, focusing on the importance of balanced habits, physical activity and mental well-being. In addition, we addressed the changes that come with growing up, particularly during adolescence. The students learnt about personal hygiene and navigating the emotional challenges of growing up. A highlight of the session was where students could openly ask questions, clear misconceptions and receive accurate information about their changing bodies, relationships and emotions.

This workshop is a step towards building a generation of informed, confident and respectful individuals. By equipping students with the knowledge of body safety, consent and self-respect, we’re helping them to grow into young people who can make informed decisions and foster positive relationships. Together, we’re creating a nurturing and empowering environment for our students to grow, learn and thrive!

After our Diwali break, we made sure to welcome our children with puddles of energy and warmth on the occasion of Children’s Day! Two lovely mascots, Doremon and Chhota Bheem added an extra spark of joy to the day.

Starting with lively dance performances by our teachers to mesmerising magic tricks, our students were captivated throughout!

Next, we moved on to our activity stations, where Early Years (EY) and Primary-Middle Years (PY-MY) enjoyed an incredible array of activities designed to create joy, promote teamwork, and help develop motor and social skills:
🎨 Stations for All: Clay Party, Karaoke 🎤, Face Painting 🎨, Khakhra Pizza 🍕, Bucket Ball 🏀, Blindfold Challenge, Human Snake & Ladder 🐍, Ball Splash 💦 and the ever-popular Jumping Slides! 🏰
Each activity encouraged creativity, fostered friendships and brought out the spirit of cooperation and play.
After a delicious lunch together 😋, the fun continued with buddy time on the Jumping Slides for PY-MY students, and to close the celebration, our talented teachers surprised everyone with a musical performance, singing beautiful melodies that expressed our love and appreciation for the children. 🎶❤️
It was a day filled with laughter, warmth, and beautiful moments that reminded us of the joy of childhood and the importance of nurturing young hearts. 🌈✨

Aarthians lit up the school with joy and excitement for Diwaleen, a festive blend of Diwali and Halloween! The day began with a dazzling ramp walk, where students shone like stars in their colourful outfits, celebrating the best of both worlds with creativity and fun! 🌟
Building on the excitement, our classrooms transformed into a feast of flavours during a delightful Fusion Potluck. Students shared their favourite dishes with friends, creating tasty memories that reflected the rich traditions of both festivals. 🍽️✨
The thrill carried on as our young Aarthians ventured through various activity stations, each offering a unique Diwali and Halloween experience:
Diya Decoration: Like little artists, students painted colourful diyas, adding sparkle to the celebration of lights. 🕯️
Fireless Cooking: Budding chefs made delicious snacks, proving that creativity in the kitchen can shine just as brightly without fire. 👩‍🍳
Mask Cut-out Colouring: Students showed their creativity by decorating masks that highlighted their artistic skills. 🎨
Toran Making: Creativity blossomed as students crafted traditional torans, bringing festive charm to their surroundings like garlands of joy. 🌸

Our Jr.KG-Sr.KG Citrine had an incredible time during the Rest and Read Time!! The students cozied up in the reading corner, eagerly flipping through the pages of their favourite books and letting their imaginations run wild. 📚✨
It was wonderful to see the children fully immersed in their stories, with some students captivated by the pictures and simply enjoying the act of flipping through the books. This interactive reading session not only helped them identify sounds and words but also cultivated a deeper love for books and reading.
The joy and excitement were clear to see as each child shared what they loved most about their chosen book, sparking engaging conversations and building a stronger sense of community within the class. We're so proud of our young readers and their growing passion for books and reading! 🌈❤️

The Grade 1-2 Beryl students embarked on an exciting journey into the world of bar graphs! Our Maths Booster took us on a captivating exploration through the lens of the Olympics.

We started with a fun story about a young researcher, James, who was curious about his peers' favourite Olympic sports. To support James, we conducted a survey by drawing or writing the names of Olympic sports on paper. After collecting data from our own class and venturing into another classroom to expand our sample, we learnt how to create bar graphs.

We transformed our data into a bar graph format. We learnt that bar graphs have important parts like the title, labelled axes, and bars showing the data. Understanding these components helped us effectively organise and present our survey findings.

The day was amazing, packed with curiosity, imagination and teamwork. We delved into the field of mathematics and used our new knowledge to solve problems.

Our Grade 8 unit on Adolescence kicked off with a bang! Our teachers staged a hilarious skit about the ups and downs of growing up, but with a twist: they never used the terms "puberty" or "adolescence." This left us all intrigued and eager to learn more.
Using the "Predict-Observe-Explain" thinking routine, we delved deeper into the skit, sharing our observations and trying to understand the underlying message. It was a fun and interactive way to explore the changes we are all experiencing. From awkward moments to emotional roller coasters, we realised we are all in this together!
Finally, we unleashed our creativity with a mind map brainstorming session on the topic of adolescence. We explored ideas, connected them and expanded our understanding of these important stages of life. It was a fun and engaging way to learn!

We’re thrilled to share the joy and success of our recent Diwaleen celebration! This unique event blended the festive spirit of Diwali and Halloween, giving our students a memorable day filled with fun, cultural connection, and creativity. This Diwaleen, we also embraced an Eco-Friendly Diwali, aligning with our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through our environmentally responsible SDG Changemakers - SDG Task force at Aarth. Through eco-friendly diyas, reusable decorations, and awareness activities, our students celebrated sustainably, supporting SDG goals like Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12) and Climate Action (SDG 13).
Our day began with a colorful ramp walk showcasing traditional attire and Halloween costumes, followed by a fusion potluck where students and teachers shared delicious dishes. Engaging activity stations like diya decorating, rangoli, mask-making, storytelling, and dance parties kept the excitement alive from start to finish.

Exciting Start to our New Unit: "A Vision of Hope: Our Journey Towards a Cleaner Earth"
To launch our Unit “Earths natural resources”, our enthusiastic Grade 1-2 students gathered to watch a captivating drama performed by teachers, in which a young child experienced a vivid and thought-provoking dream. In this dream, towering mountains of dust spoke ominously about how pollution ravages the Earth and endangers human life. The child eventually realized it was just a dream, which led to the exciting reveal of the title for our new unit’s Read-Aloud “Just A Dream”!
We introduced Just a Dream by Chris Van Allsburg, a beautifully illustrated story that follows a boy who initially takes the environment for granted. Through a series of dream-like, haunting visions, he witnesses a bleak future where pollution has wreaked havoc on the Earth. From soaring piles of trash to withering forests, these striking images help the boy grasp the dire consequences of human neglect.
Our curious students eagerly participated in lively discussions, sharing heartfelt thoughts on how they could make a difference in protecting the planet. The book has sparked deep, meaningful conversations about environmental responsibility, and the students are excited to dive deeper into these critical themes as we continue exploring our new unit.

🎉 ¡Celebramos el Día del Español 🇪🇸✨
We are thrilled to share that the celebration of Spanish Day was a grand success, filled with fun, learning and vibrant energy! This year, we are incredibly proud to share that the entire event, from planning to execution for both the Primary and Middle Years was led by our Grade 5 students.

The children, dressed in a mix of red, white, yellow and black, brought the spirit of Spain to life as they explored Spanish greetings, played number Bingo and engaged in lively Spanish conversations.
While Grade 1-2 learnt basic Spanish greetings while having fun with and solving puzzles related to Spanish, our upper primary and middle school students joined as enthusiastic participants in the centres created by Grade 5 students.

In groups, the Grade 5 learners created fun and interactive stations, including activities like guessing Spanish celebrations and festivals, guessing and drawing the words in Spanish, and exploring traditional Spanish cuisine and the country’s famous personalities. Their engaging activities allowed students to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Spain, making the celebration both educational and enjoyable.
💃 To conclude the day, we enjoyed a fantastic Spanish dance performance, where the lively rhythms of flamenco and salsa filled the air, bringing a sense of joy and unity. It was the perfect finale to a celebration that not only honoured language and culture but also fostered international mindedness. From the youngest to the oldest, our students embraced the beauty of the Spanish language and traditions with enthusiasm, deepening their understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures—a key step in becoming global citizens.

Waste is only waste if we waste it. – Will.i.am ✨🌍

Our young eco-warriors from Grades 1-2, the Thinkers, are ready to take meaningful action toward sustainability! 🌍 As part of their ongoing inquiry into natural resources, they have explored how these resources are being depleted, researched the causes and uncovered the impact on our planet. Through surveys and observations, they identified the types of trash around them and how much waste surrounds us.

Inspired by their findings, the students shared insightful solutions on how to reduce, reuse and recycle. This led to a creative project in their Visual Arts and Design & Tech classes, where they teamed up to learn the art of recycling.
With waste paper collected from all over the school, the students are now diving into the process of transforming it into new, reusable paper. 📝♻️ Our young changemakers are adding a spark of creativity to solving this problem, discovering firsthand how small actions can make a big impact on our planet.
